Always worth getting a history lesson with a city tour and we got that with our guide Alan. He was light hearted and knowledgeable. Moved fast to cover lots of ground which was fine with me!

My dad, stepmom and I opted for this tour as some of the others were a bit longer and we wanted less of a time commitment. Great little side facts and interesting tid bits about the city. Patient guide, well informed and all around a...More

We booked last minute with Alan, on what turned out to be a very cold, windy and snowy day. This worked in our favour as we had him to ourselves for two excellent hours. His knowledge of the history and architecture of Boston is superb,...More

We took the walk from Copley Square (Boston Pubic Library steps) to Faneuil Hall. My wife and I live in the Boston suburbs, and took a two day Boston vacation. While we knew a lot that the guide said, there was a lot that we...More

Our guide for both halves of this tour was wonderful. We split it into two days which gave us time to enjoy shopping and dinner at unique places along the trail. Strongly encourage taking a guided tour as there is so much history and back...More

I think this walking tour of Boston was just right. We started at the Boston Public library and ended almost two hours later at Faneuil Hall and saw a lot of the city, covered many subjects, and a lot of ground. We had a fine...More

I would have given 5 stars to this fun tour during which we walked through several beautiful neighborhoods and learned a ton of the history and many famous Bostonians, but for one thing--the cultural stereotype that I perceived from our tour guide. For instance, when...More

I apologize for the misunderstanding. That would never be my intention to stereotype. When I give the demographics of Boston's population, it is grouped by subset the way the census data appears. Asian is not broken down further, in the same way the Hispanic population...More

I really hesitated to post a negative review. But I've reconsidered because I WISH I had known how awful this walking tour was before buying tickets. I have done many outstanding and informative walking tours in many cities over the years -- this one was...More

While I am not surprised that your extensive research and fact checking corroborated the information and facts given on the tour, I am saddened that you missed the essence of our tours: to craft together all that information into stories that highlight Boston's history and...More

If you're interested in history - this is the tour for you. My family went on the two hour tour that took us to neighborhoods we definitely wouldn't have thought to explore on our own. Our guide, the owner, was fantastic. We had accidentally signed...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

Hi, We are spending 3/10 weekend in boston and would like to take our girls on the city tour. What is the maximum # of people in the group? Our last boston tour was a bust bc the shear number of people made us feel like cattle and it was hard to hear the guide if you weren't directly behind her. Also, is the a rain or shine tour? If it rains, can we reschedule or be refunded?

Dana, I understand. The maximum on any tour is 20, but this time of year we very seldom get that many on a tour. Plus,I can be quite loud so I'm sure you won't have any issues. Tours run rain or shine unless there is a... More
