We've taken several tour buses in Boston, this one is the best by far! The tour guides are costumed storytellers. And they are fantastic. All the bus tours talk about Bostons' history, but this had to be the most interesting. You are able to get out of the bus at the cemetaries and walk around inside. Many are locked, so... More

Being that Boston has a lot of rich history, I thought this would be a fun way to learn about it. Out tour guide was awesome - he was very friendly and outgoing; very knowledgable about not only haunted history, but the history of MA in general. Though it was definitely cold, I was glad to have done the tour.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Boston for the first time this past September. My best friend suggested we do a haunted ghost tour in the city. We thought yeah, why not. Turns out his friend Jeff ran the tour. An awesome dude and local Bostonian who simply crushes it. Truly one of the best nights we had on our... More

I took the tour this evening. Our tour guide Meghan was very knowledgeable on all things paranormal and dark in nature. The way she told the stories was very entertaining. I feel as a tour guide you should be able to paint a picture for your patrons. She accomplished this and then some. Thanks Meghan.

My husband and I went on a ghost tour with Haunted Boston on the Sunday before Halloween. It was raining the whole time, so know that these tours go on rain or shine. I want to say our guide was named Jeff. He was great! He was theatrical, but not over the top, very engaging, and very knowledgable. We got... More

Katie was a good guide - her stories were crafted well and were a great selection. She tailored the stories she told to those in attendance and engaged the group in fun ways.

I really enjoyed this tour! The guide (Katie) was fantastic! The way she seamlessly told us these ghost stories along the walk with enthusiasm and intrigue was terrific. I have lived in Boston for a few years now but thought this would be a fun way to learn about the city and it was! This walk has a perfect amount... More

Terrific walk through history and the paranormal with Jeff- our very knowledgeable and witty tour guide. We went through Boston Common, Beacon Hill and surrounding areas- ended at the Omni.

The tour was exactly what we were looking for....no scary, costumed performers... The tour was conducted by our guide, Meaghan. She guided us eloquently thru some of Boston's historical ghost stories coupled with gruesome murder stories that occurred in this location. Enjoyed every moment of it! Highly recommend this tour!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
