I was looking for feedback on when to get to the venue for a 7 pm "doors open" event. After we parked we got into a huge line for the Rick Astley concert. We waited about 45 minutes to get in. I would definitely recommend eating at the restaurant so you can go into the short line.

Got my son Lukas graham tickets for Christmas this year and he was performing st the house of blues in Boston . I was slightly concerned as I had never been to the venue and how the crowd would be... well my son and I had one of the best times we have had in a long time the venue... More

We have gone to a blues concert with group of 10 people. It was all good but we all get tired because of standing constantly. I wish they had place to sit.

Went to one of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones shows just after Christmas in 2016. I was in Boston for a few days and wanted to check it out, especially after touring Fenway Park the day before. Most views on the Mezz level were ok. If I were to return, I would get balcony or the stadium seating as the views... More

This is a fabulous venue to visit if you want a little taste Boston. It's also located near gate C at iconic Fenway, which is an added plus for Red Sox fans! I sat on the floor for a show and could see the stage perfectly. Standing room is available on balconies above. My complaint is that it was a... More

I like that there is standing room and lots of it in the front. On the higher levels there is reserved seating which is terrific. Lots of bars and lots of bathrooms. Fun place to see a show !

HOB is a cool place to see a show. I still kick myself for not finding a way to get in years back when Adele performed there ("chasing pavements" days!). The venue probably holds about 2500, and many of the tickets are standing. That's why I say in my title to be informed. If you have standing room, best to... More

While attending a show this last weekend with my husband a security personnel came up to us and took my photo, tried to ask what he was doing and he walked away. Just a little weird as to why my picture was taken and why I was not asked or told why.

We flew over from the UK to see FOALS at the HoB on 01 November 16. We found the House of Blues to be a really great and unusual venue. Our tickets put us on the VIP balcony which gave us a brilliant and unrestricted view of the stage. We were free to move about and the floor has it's... More

We ate prior to the show and got to "pass the line." Which was a separate, much shorter line to get into the event. We were close to the stage and had excellent views. The sound quality was wonderful. We'll definitely see another show at the HOB.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
