A gem of surprise - i won't even try to explain! A unique and rewarding performance art experience! A little bit loud for our younger son, but he eventually settled in. There were not a lot of dining experiences nearby, so plan a little ahead for that. We all want to return again.

Don't spend too much money on the seats up front. It's a small venue so any seats are good. I enjoyed the show.

We had the pleasure of seeing Blue Man Group live at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas earlier this year. So since we couldn’t get 2 good seats sitting together for a Christmas Eve Boston Holiday Pops show—why not spend the afternoon watching Blue Man Group in Boston. We were not disappointed at all and we fully recommend the experience... More

Although we couldn't take photos or video while the show was going on and there were absolutely no spoken words, this show was amazing! It's enjoyable for all ages but especially for those that can appreciate music and musical interpretation.

I have seen Blue Man Group 3 times now and every time I laugh even more. They have "tweaked" the skits over time but there are a few parts that are the same, and those are always the funniest. I recommend this show for every age group!

Great time, great energy great music. Excellent live rock band! The show was one hour and forty minutes long but it felt like it was over in no time. Fast paced, high energy and plenty of humor. We will be back.

First time at the Charles Playhouse, very comfortable and intimate venue. The chairs were comfortable, the staff friendly. It was a good experience, the music was good, I was not expecting it to be funny. The only thing I didn't expect, they had a band, so the band was doing most of the music, not actually the group, I would... More

Not sure how I feel about this one, maybe on something stronger than champagne - my sister enjoyed it, I tried but failed to get it. Still points for bizarre and unusual

I've seen Blue Man at a large venue before but the up close and personal venue really gives you a unique perspective on the show. Truly a great time!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
