This is a really nice book shop in downtown Boston. I enjoyed my time there looking through their very well organized store. Be sure to check out the 3rd floor for some rare and vintage treasures.

Despite seeing all the pictures nothing like it in person! Service is great and definitely could spend hours here easily perusing all the titles outside and inside.

As it is claimed, we stopped by here the day we started the Freedom Trail "safari". Actually it is located near the Boston Common, the starting point of the Trail. Right next to the book shop is a piece of empty space where they some...More

One of the real American classic bookstores. You can browse outside in the $3 and $5 bins for an hour or two. And it you have a specific book in mind, you can probably find it in the stacks inside. Lots of bargains outside --...More

If you're the kind of person who likes to peruse the shelves for a countless time, this is your place. Books galore, on the cheap, though there's not a profound amount of order to it all. But if you're in no hurry and enjoy being...More

I love this place! One of the oldest bookshops in the US. Some years ago I came across a great book from 1636, all original but a plate missing and pencil marks... $125. As an English visitor who was shopping there noted for me "Brattle...More

Be sure to go to the third floor where the more rare and unique books are housed. Spend time browsing the shelves and think about your loved ones and what may work for them. It was worth the time and would highly recommend this!

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have
