This was the first stop on the Freedom Trail. We did the self-guided tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can wander pretty much anywhere and it is really a beautiful building.

Absolutely beautiful building. Free to visit. We took a tour once inside. The senate room was being renovated when we visited so couldn’t go under the gold dome. Lots of marble and beautiful paintings adorn the walls.
