But ... It is amazing. 100% you have to go. " This is the "Bunkers hill" we studied as kids. Historically fascinating site. Even if you don't climb it, go and appreciate it.

You don't come to see Breed's hill, you come to climb the Bunker hill monument. The north end of the Freedom Trail is here as well. There is plenty of free street parking in the area

There is not much to see, but it is nice to see it due to its historic importance for New England. The museum is small but nice and the explanations and service inside is super friendly and interesting. In the summer it is nice to...More

5 Stars for the history of "Bunker Hill" 1 Star for the walk up the monument. It is steep, hot, and not worth it. I recommend just enjoying it from the outside. The Grounds are very special.

A great historical place with museum and park. A delicious place to hangout, under this big symbol of america's honor and pride of building this great nation called USA.

Went here after eating lunch in the area. Stairs to the monument were closed and under construction on the monument rd side. Nice monument gives you some inside to American Revolution. Not a must see but worth a trip

Not dramatic or large, but very historic and impressive monument. Did not get there at time the monument was open to climb.

Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight
lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit.
Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge
from the North End or take the scenic water locks to
Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll
down cute Main street, wandering up the windy
residential streets to Monument Square, where you can
learn about the city’s history along with a great view
