What a great attraction. Maybe the only one in the world. In addition to a history lesson about the origin of the amphibious vehicles, you get a great tour of the city and a cruise down the Charles River. All the sites and their significance...More

We did the Duck Tours to try to get an overview of Boston. However, I was severely disappointed. The tour guide did not give us any information about the sights in Boston. Instead, he continuously made jokes, and it was difficult to tell what were...More

It is cute to ride the amphibian vehicle. We took this tour because we were three adults who had taken the freedom trail walking tour at least a year ago but had 13 year old kids with us, and thought the vehicle and the jokes...More

This was the best guided tour I have ever been on!! If there was an award for tour guides, it would have to go to our guide Flo. She's was very entertaining and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

This is a very good idea of combining the sightseeing on the ground and on water. It covers the most important places and you leave the city with the fact that is near a large amount of water. It is relatively pricey but worth the...More

We took a Boston Duck Tour in June 2017. It was informative, relaxing, and fun - and a great way to see Boston. Wonderful for all ages.

Tour was fun although a bit chilly. We learned a bunch about Boston and ended up going back to a couple places for more time after the tour. Probably best for kids!

statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

The tour goes on even when it's raining. They will cover the top and have rolled down plastic for the windows. Of course I wouldn't recommend going on a Duck tour if it's raining hard .....you wouldn't be able to see... More

Does anyone prefer one tour route to the other? In other words, is the tour that leaves from the New England Aquarium better than the tour that leaves from the Prudential Center?

It is safe, but since the tour is quite long your 18 month old may fall asleep. When I went, a father had his infant with him on the tour.
