My husband, his sister and I spent a few days in Boston and thought it would be a funny way to explore Boston. And it was indeed very funny, our driver was hilarious and we enjoyed ourselves. But still - 10 Dollars less would be appropriate.

Boys really enjoyed experience and had a chance to drive the duck on the river. A completely different way to see the city and find out more about the history. Great fun guides.

I spent three days in Boston (for the first time) with my parents visiting from Italy and we loved Boston Duck tours. Conveniently located just around Prudential Center (but there are other stops in other places around the town). It's perfect if you have young kids but we enjoyed the experience even without kids. The driver was friendly and fun... More

I am a sucker for corny stuff, so I loved the duck boats. You get a great little tour of the city and it acquaints you with what's where. You quack your way through the city and into the Charles River for a water view. I have lived here forever and just went this year. Loved the tour and the... More

I've lived in Boston most of my life, and had never taken this tour. It's definitely worth it. Lots of fun, informative and entertaining. I'd recommend it to both locals and tourists.

The Boston Duck Tours is a must do if your visiting or a local showing guest around the City. Our tour guide Billy aka (The Cod Father) was not only informative, but kept us laughing the whole time. He related to everyone on board from the 5 year old to the 78 year old. Billy was with out a doubt... More

This was a great thing to do on our first day in Boston. It gave us a good layout of the city and a chance to see the freedom trail. Also the driver let's kids drive in the water. Our 5 year old loved it

The driver was full of information and presented it really well.. often trying to be funny. The kids in the duck seemed to enjoy it a lot. For me the portion where the duck seamlessly moved from land to water was interesting. Very well organised.

We spent a week in Maine but decided to spend a day in Boston on the way up. So glad we did. The Duck Tour was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. We were hesitant at first because of the time of year but no worries the "duck" is heated and dry. Our driver was awesome. Full of... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
