Had a really enjoyable cycle out here on a scorching hot day. The start is from a lovely beach, then round the park side with great views of Boston, and up to the castle. The return round the outside is problematical, as the cycle map shows a cycle route, but there are no cycling signs. I saw other cyclists using... More

Absolutely beautiful! Can see the planes coming in and out from the airport, while sitting back and dreaming about your next vacation. We took great pictures of the ocean, the scenery, and the lighthouse far off in the distance.

I live in Boston's Southend and often hop on my bike and do the Carson Beach, Pleasure Bay, Castle Island loop. You wouldn't think you were so close to the heart of the city in these wonderful places.

This is a location with space just out of the city in South Boston. It's possible to drive and park or cycle or walk as it's on the Harbor Pathway. The Number 11 bus also runs nearby but there's a 500 metre walk to the island once you get off at 2nd Street. Many mothers take their kids to the... More

Nice place to walk, fair playground. Fun to watch the planes land and take off. Kids can scooter or ride bikes safely. Scenic and relaxing. A nice warm weather place to visit. Plan to return in beach weather when kids can play in the sand.

This is a beautiful and quiet part of Boston. Beautiful New England beach with a wide path along and over the water to walk or run.
