Perhaps naively I thought this was going to be a natural attraction, which is why I was surprised it was in the downtown area. Also the photos are strategically taken to make the room (not cave) look significantly larger than it is. However it was relaxing and indeed an experience.

We stopped in for a little shopping. Everyone was reasonably priced with some interesting options but staff was not very friendly. Would not visit again.

We drove from another state to visit for my birthday. We had read about this attraction online and had brought my young grandson with us due to the claims of medicinal benefits it can offer for children. There are pictures online of children in the salt cave playing. There is no mention of restrictions or special days of the week... More

I am sorry that you drove for a visit and we were unable to accommodate you. As we are extremely busy these days, it is recommended to make an appointment ahead of your visit, in which we would have shared this information. On our website in a few different places it does share about our child sessions and how they... More

Saw this advertised on social media and knew that I wanted to give it a try. We made an appoint for a visit into the salt cave and massage. Although I was skeptical about the cave itself, it was amazing once we got in and got settled. I didn't find it cold at all although some in our group did.... More

Great experience. Upon entering salt cave there is crushed salt on ground, large salt chunks on wall and reclining chairs and blankets and big pillows if you want to lay down. We were told of the history of the salt cave and where the salt came from and then relaxed and meditated. The lights were dimmed and music played and... More

We were looking for something different to do before meeting up friends on a Friday. Wanting some relaxation but not wanting to have to shower and get ready again, my husband found the salt cave. I was skeptical, especially when I learned it wasn't a real cave, and we both giggled at the location (below a parking garage in the... More

My husband and I visited the salt cave on our recent visit to Asheville. I highly recommend for anyone who is in stressed. It was so relaxing and serene. We left feeling better and more relaxed than we have in a long time. A must do!

This was a fun experience and I would do it again. I'm not sure that my husband would but this really is not his type of thing. I truly felt better after the 45 minute visit to the cave. It is a good relaxing experience.

Just finished a 45 minute session in the Salt Cave. My sister and nephew had recommended it as extremely relaxing. I have two salt lamps in my home so thought i would tryvit out. It was so relaxing, I nodded off for part of it. I would recommend it as a break from a busy sight seeing day in Asheville.

My husband and I got a "heal thy sole" reflexology massage that was truly wonderful! I have gotten foot massages before but none as good as this! We also enjoyed breathing in the rock salt for 45 min. The zero gravity chairs and blankets were so so comfy we fought to stay awake but a nap is not uncommon here,... More
