I stopped in for the "In Stitches" exhibit and to experience some Asheville art culture. Wide variety of art for sale including pottery, jewelry, furniture. There is truly something for everyone.

Grovewood Gallery (integral part of the village) is a highlight with beautiful arts and crafts andd some great outdoor sculpture. There are also several small artist studios that are open a few times a year for viewing. Area includes a wonderful old car museum and some newly opened historic buildings that used to house high end fabric production. A good... More

Both the setting and art/furniture/jewelry/glass/pottery/sculptures on display were amazing! We visited the day after the wonderful 30th Anniversary Arts & Crafts Festival held at the Grove Park Inn. What a great way to end our visit. The staff greeted us as we walked in to give us a lay of the land and were extremely patient. Prices were amazingly reasonable... More

This gallery is less known as it is not in the middle of Asheville. Many think it is part of the Omni Grove Park Inn, NOT SO! It is free standing, close to the OGPI. It is on the Grey Lines Tour Route. It is filled w/the best of Asheville jewelers & wood craftpersons!

This nice little group of shops is on the grounds of the wonderful Omni Grove Park Inn. Even the parking lot is inviting. There is an old car museum, an charming shop of handmade items ranging from jewelry to furniture and a restaurant which is pleasant with wonderful food at reasonable prices.

Stumbled upon Grove Park Inn which is worth a visit to the lobby just to see the impressive fireplaces. And enjoy the view of downtown & mountains. But the highlight for us was the galleries by the restaurant & auto museum. Best wood working pieces I've ever seen.

This is our favorite gallery in Asheville. The location is right next to the Grove Park Omni Hotel, but not owned by them. It has been showing first class artists and craft people here for years and the quality has always been interesting and very buyable.

The antique car museum is absolutely amazing!! So are the other galleries just down the way. The museum's manager, Tom Andres, is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable about the history of the cars and the family that owns the establishment. I would highly recommend going to visit this establishment before going to the Grove Park Inn. Take the time to... More

We appreciate the positive feedback! I'm so happy you enjoyed your visit to Grovewood Village. Tom Anders is a wealth of knowledge, and I don't know what we would do without him. Thanks for giving him a shout-out! Our car museum is now closed for the remainder of the winter season but will reopen on April 1. Our gallery and... More
