Plenty of local produce stands and lots of others selling local made jams, sauces, wine, snacks, and tchotchke items. The indoor stands are the best place to find these items. The outdoor stalls have more produce and plants in the warmer weather. There is also...More

Springtime brings fresh flowers. Summertime means fresh vegetables. Great place to buy a watermelon or peaches or tomatoes. Fall means Apples and pumpkins. December means Christmas trees.

Yes there fun things here, but get ready to empty your pockets. Not sure I would ever to have an opportunity to open a jar of hot pepper pickled quail eggs.

This farmer's market was full of so many fun things. Some eclectic, some very useful. There was also a ton of fresh and preserved produce. Many vendors accepted cards (with minimum purchases, often) which made our impromptu visit both convenient and enjoyable.

Every vender treats you like family. Souvenirs and items for every taste, farm fresh products and crafts galore. Plenty of parking, huge area full of hard to find natural products. I sampled and couldn’t resist buying a couple of pounds of the delicious cheese.

Yes a select few sell organic items. I also suggest ALDI on River Road in Asheville for organic foods. They have a good selection as well as good prices.
