I go fairly often to the Arboretum to walk the trails and see the special exhibits. Great gift store, Best Christmas light show in town. Beautiful wide walking trails along the creek. Very popular.

In the coldest part of January, I still greatly enjoyed my morning at the NC Arboretum. Wonderful bonsai display rotates different specimens throughout the year and shows cold-hardy varieties through winter. Very walkable hiking trails weave around the garden perimeter and can be completed in...More

Great decorating, a place I can’t wait to go back to in the spring with our friends. Looks like the grounds have some excellent views, walking trail and will have awesome flowers blooming.

This is an easy access arboretum with a great main building with excellent exhibits. The gardens outside are beautiful in the spring and a must see for the Christmas light display. Take time to walk the trails which are different for each season.

I had seen a show on TV about Tiny Homes. To live in one 12 months out of the year would be extremely difficult if not impossible. But might give people some great ideas for vacation cottages or what to do with obstreperous teenagers. Take...More

I don't know, but someone at the arboretum can answer your question: either at the entry booth or in the Visitor Center.
