This 1.7 mile, 30-site self-guided tour is a great way for people to learn the history and culture of Asheville on a beautiful day. On a wet or blustery day, only a die-hard history or architecture buff would enjoy it. Each stop has a bronze...More

I like urban walks, and this was a good one. I didn't know how many authors emanated from here, but was glad to see them honored on this trail. I love a good safe, city stroll. Didn't care for the blankety-blank hippies, but whatever. patchouli.

We walked the trail as something to do one night. Not sure the trail was anything special, but it did give us a nice path to take around town for an evening.

We thought at first it was going to be a little lame but the family enjoyed finding all of items on the list. It's a 1.7 mile round trip and got to see the downtown area.

I liked walking around and reading about the different sites around the town. A couple of the places on the tour were a bit hard to find.
