We did the Urban Trail and it took us to parts of downtown Asheville we had not visited in our week there, so that was good, and it gave us some history of the streets that brought everything into perspective.

Nice guide to the historical attractions of the city passing many exotic and lovable shops, including 3 (in words three) bookstores, completely different but all very exciting. Also minerals from Madagaskar and hip clothing.

The self-guided walk through downtown Asheville is well-marked, with interesting historical and artistic explanations of the town's history and culture. Good for visitors and locals taking a stay-cation.

This is a very nice walking trail in the city, with statues and small parks around. Very often there are activities going on with singers, dancers or musicians.

We walked the trail as something to do one night. Not sure the trail was anything special, but it did give us a nice path to take around town for an evening.

We printed the map for the Urban Trail from the Internet and we walked the trail and found every one of the stops. It was a fun way to go through the downtown and to get a good experience of the history of Asheville.

A fun way to get to know the town. Following the trail directions we walked from one spot to another with time to stop in stores, rest on benches, and sample treats [don't miss the chocolate stores]. There a few spots were we never did...More
