Wished I had discovered this trolley tour the first time I visited Asheville – Uncle Ted was our tour guide, he blended history and humor to make it memorable and worthwhile. Asheville is so much more than Biltmore! Make the Asheville Visitor Center your first place to visit, you can park there while you take the Overview trolley tour first,... More

I arrived in Asheville and within a half hour of checking into my hotel I was on the last hop on/hop off tour for the day. It lasted just over two hours and gave a great overview of this really delightful town. Getting the history, highlights and orientation on Friday afternoon really helped me have an enjoyable weekend.

Excellent tour, very informative on the local history and mysteries of the history of Nashville. Wonderful guide who was a very entertaining presenter of information. Would highly recommend. Reasonably priced as well.

We were lucky enough to get Michael, a retired teacher who was an expert story teller. It had been years since I had visited the city and I wish I had taken the tour when I visited the first time. The trip includes a visit to many of the neighborhoods as well as the historic Grove Park Inn. I highly... More

We only had one day in Asheville, so we wanted to make the most of it. We took the trolley and our guide, Michelle, made this the perfect way to see this beautiful city. Her knowledge of the history and background was so thorough, that the town came to life. We could not have enjoyed it more.

The hosts at our inn recommended this tour, saying that even long-term residents learn from it. Our two driver/guides were very personable and told us a lot about Asheville that I never would have known without the tour. We took advantage of the hop-on-hop-off option and spent pretty much a whole day wandering around. Asheville has a fascinating history and... More

Six adults took this tour, and it was very informative. Our guide was Brian, and not only was he knowledgeable, but lots of fun also. This is a great way to see the city and learn it's history. We stayed on the bus for the entire trip then went again to see the Grove Inn. This resort has an amazing... More

The Trolley ran on schedule and with Uncle TED, he has a special presentation style which keeps you involved and interested in the area history and his part in it. This was the best tour we have ever been on, and we have done many around the US and world. We enjoyed every minute and learned a lot about Asheville,... More

This tour was heavy on history (fine with me!) and on stories about events, spirits, sightings in the past and not so long ago. The girls (11 yrs) were fascinated and we actually went to two of the sites the following night and took photos. They are sure they saw "shadows" in one. This tour does not actually visit places,... Having been recommended to visit Asheville we did wonder when we drove into town what was so special but having gone on the trolley tour with Dean we were wowed by the place. Really interesting and beautiful place well described via a trolley tour
