I admit it is a holiday weekend (President’s Day) but it was like being herded. The estate is beautiful - even in the rain and the Titanic costume exhibit was a nice addition.

Biltmore Estate is a must see when in the area. Although the gardens were not blooming in February, the conservatory was outstanding!

A wonderful place to spend a day touring and exploring the buildings and grounds. The history of the days, craftsmanship and grandeur abound here!

1. The Versailles doesn’t even charge this much 2. Super long car lines to make it to the ticket point which doesn’t include the drive to the gate 3. Pretentious, to get to the restaurant you have to pay the ticket price

We visited while the Titanic movie costumes were on display in the house. I found it fascinating that the Vanderbilt family lived in such luxury during the same era as the Titanic.
