We were hoping this would be interesting but it would be one of, if not, the most dull and boring museum we have ever been to. The worst part is we went here twice. The first time we turned up (during supposed opening hours) to find a handwritten sign on the door saying it was closed and the "Director was... More

A little hard to find. It is the red brick building behind the big office building at its stated address. Free. One room only. Most of the interactive exhibits were not working when we were there Dec. 6, 2016. Lots of info about Thomas Edison considered to be America's greatest inventor.

This museum was small but had lots of neat things to learn about. My little ones (1 & 4 year olds) were a little young to understand everything but I enjoyed it. Some of the devices were out of order so that was a bummer but for the most part all of the family enjoyed it.

Small, quaint, free. Interesting information about Edison. Some interactive displays for the kids. I enjoyed looking at pictures of him and learning more about him.

This place you back to the time of Edison with his patterns and creation. This is a small one story museum located next to The engery company of Beaumont TX.

A small museum but it has well thought out exhibits and great content. There are some great hands-on activities like the Morse code exhibit.

Small but powerful. (that's a pun) No kidding it is a small space. But framed full of information about electricity; specifically about the early use of electricity in Beaumont. Parking in the lot across the street.

We returned for another visit now that one of our kids just completed a school project on Thomas Edison. He was a brilliant man that had enough thoughts to fill more than 3,000 notebooks with sketches and ideas - and over 1,000 patents to his name! The safe and effective light bulb, phonograph, and motion picture camera are just 3.... More

I took my 2 grandkids to see this small but vastly informative museum and they had a great time. The computer that translates a typed message into morse code was a big hit with my 9 & 11 yr. olds. My grandson was cutting a rug to the prerecorded music that demonstrated the phonograph. We saw 5 museums that day... More

The website said open m-f 9-5, the door sign said open tues-fri 9-2. We were there at 1 on Tuesday and they were closed. Disappointing.
