Is the Skunk Ape related to Yeti or Sasquatch? You may not sight the elusive smelly Skunk Ape here, but you can learn about it, buy souvenirs/insect repellent, or pay to visit a small tropical zoo for a nominal fee. Structured on a field of...More

We enjoyed petting and holding some of the wildlife. There's everything from alligators and turtles to snakes and birds. The animals are well trained, loved, and cared for. The owner is very friendly and passionate about wildlife. Say hello to Dodo and Patches for me!

Unfortunately we did not get a glimpse of this elusive creature, however what we did get was about 1,000 mosquito bites....and a quick peek at what looked to be the worlds biggest snake.

This was a great stop along the Everglades. If you have a Sasquatch lover in the group, they give tours by appointment and have fun gifts. It is also a Camp Ground, we never stayed.

We stopped to checkout this little museum and store. They have a museum or zoo in the back. We peeked thru and saw a huge python. We didn't pay for the $12 pass, but it was worth the stop to see what it's all about.

Cute place to stop for a few photo ops! Small gift shop with friendly people running it. Didn't buy anything but was given info on places to see along alligator alley.

Oh, on reading over my answer to your question, I mentioned the pole boat ride. I forgot to say that is a separate cost.
