Been skiing here since 1978. No lines, developed by a non-profit club that accomplished most of the work. For me less than 15 miles from my home.

I have a friend in Los Alamos. My friend is a ski-enthusiast who has skied at Pajarito (LITTLE BIRD) Ski Mountain for three (3) count-them DECADES. He took me for a drive to one of his most favorite places on earth, Pajarito Ski Mountain. I...More

I grew up skiing a Pajarito. It's one of the best hills in NM. Needless to say, Little Bird is not friendly to beginners. The beginner hill is obsurdly steep and the few green trails that the mountian has, would be extremly difficult for someone...More

Pajarito Ski Mountain is a nice place for local experienced skiers, but if you are a beginner you best look elsewhere. Courses that are classified as Green Beginner would be Blue Intermediate on any other ski hill. As a beginner, steep narrow ski lanes are...More

I took my daughter here to learn to ski for two days this past week, and was really happy with the experience. It was very uncrowded, with no lift lines at all (and this during Texas' spring break). Everyone was really friendly. My daughter's two...More

This ski mountain offers excellent value for money and is interesting enough to keep you entertained for several days. The tour lessons were fantastic for my 9 year old who was then able to ski with me for the next days! We will be back

I have skied every resort in New Mexico, this is a mini Taos. Skied it this weekend with a 51" base. Lots of straight down bump runs. Greens are more like Blues. If you are a beginner, this mountain may be challenging. Lift tickets were...More

When people call it the best bump skiing around, they're not pulling your leg. Also, lift lines were so short on a Friday that I feel kind of bad leaving a review. Don't go there, it's terrible!

This ski hill is arguably the best attraction in this small town. The skiing is great, the tickets are cheap for such amazing skiing. If you or your family are inexperienced in skiing/snowboarding the lessons are very helpful and enable you to ski the whole...More

There's a Holiday Inn and comfort Inn as well as many bed and breakfasts in the Los Alamos town. All of them are about equally close to the ski area in terms of driving. Pajarito, except for a couple special days, is... More

The lines will be short compared to santa fe or angel fire. The lifts are slower (older) than many at Santa Fe so it does take longer to get to the top.
