This place is breathtaking in the winter time. The snow contrasts with the red rock to bring you a surreal landscape. Sunset and sunrise paint the park in even more colors. Truly beautiful.

We decided last minute to spend a day at Arches. It was amazing. So many breath taking rock formations too see. We did a few short hikes since we weren't prepared for the longer ones. You can see the majority of the park with a few short hikes in a day. Absolutely, take water. We went in January, but were thirsty with the sun and wind. …

This review is for the entire park, not just a single feature, hike or condition. I noted many of the reviews were around the wait time, a hike to Delicate Arch, parking and a number of other issues - tragic, that one issue would cloud someone's judgment of an amazing National Park. Summer can be heavy visitation, but we purposely came in winter to see the park in a different weather period and so glad we did. Many areas were covered in snow, and yet some had just a bit remaining due to sun exposure. The roads were open, as were all the trails (except for the Fiery Furnace due to Covid) and extra care should be exercised when snow impacted due to slippery conditions. Attendance was VERY light, except for Delicate Arch, where we saw about 100 people. Love The Windows area and had plenty of great hiking and viewing options. When things reopen, highly suggest the Fiery Furnace hike (did it in 2009 and loved it). Sunrises and sunsets are stunning, and you can do much on your own without a guide. Strongly suggest the 4WD trail if you have the ability to take it. To fully absorb this park, it's a 3 day trip.…

This is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. We visited in January but there was a skiff of snow. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the pictures were are unbelievable! Be sure to visit in the winter but watch the weather to make sure of sunshine. If you visit in the summer, the traffic is insane. …

My fiancé and I had a lovely time at Arches. The park is incredibly well-maintained, easy to navigate, and just plain stunning. There are many trails of varying levels of difficulty to hike, but keep in mind that some areas of the park—Delicate Arch, Windows section, and Balanced Rock—get really crowded and parking fills up quickly in these spots. It’s hard to maintain social distancing in these areas, so be mindful of when you decide to visit. We were only able to spend a day at the park and really wish we had given ourselves more time to explore.…
