Arches National Park 4x4 Adventure from Moab

540 reviews
Avoid the crowds at Arches National Park with this 4x4 adventure, with multiple departure times, that takes you off road to explore the rocky terrain of the park from areas where only rugged vehicles can go. Not only can you see fossilized dinosaur tracks, Tower Arch, and Marching Men on your guided tour, but you’ll have access to ice water and lemonade to keep you cool even in the heat.

The polyglyphs were very clear and we had fun trying to figure out the meaning. We enjoyed stopping to see them and watch the rock climbers

We decided to drive up this road to avoid a traffic jam outside of Moab, Ames were we're thrilled to discover these petroglyphs just past the Wall Street Climbing Area (we used this as a reference point for Google maps when directing family how to find it)! There is a huge panel with hundreds of petroglyphs across from the small road sign. If you walk down the road another 100 feet, you'll find the bear with 3 hunters (this was our favorite petroglyph). Another 100-200 feet and there is a small section at eye level (just please don't touch them). This discovery was a highlight of our trip!

This was a nice surprise as i came upon this during a drive back from Potash Road. Very clear images and high enough on the wall not to be tampered with or destroyed. There are several walls of petroglyphs so be sure to search all the wall faces

Nice drive off of the main highway, look for signs on the river side of the road to find the petroglyphs.

What a great drive to see art on Red rocks done hundreds of years ago. It was fun trying to find the art work on the rocks. If our guide didn't point them out, it would have been challenging.
