Go through this valley to do the La Sal loop. It is just on the other side of the mounts. You will go thought green places and mounts and mountain. The road along the Colorado to reach the access is just stunning. Sylvain

This is the site where many films have been made. Varied scenery and rock formations as you drive into the valley.

We wanted to see where the Blaze of Glory video was filmed. The site was a short drive off of Highway 128. We would like to return and do the La Sal Mountain Loop in the future.

Lucky us - we stayed in Castle Valley and so had reason to drive 20 miles of this road back and forth to Moab daily. The scenery is the best-of-the-best red rock - just spectacular. Don't miss it!

Yes, you can however, you will need a second car to pick you up. Remember this is the Colorado River and there are swift areas and smooth areas. Good idea to check with a rafting company ahead of time just in case. Enjoy.
