Despite the 9 stream crossings (where waterproof hiking boots) , this is a must hike. The Morning Glory Bridge at the end is majestic! Go early and the trail can get crowded.

We definitely enjoys this hike. A little over 4 miles. Lots of crossing of the river so be prepared to get wet. There are options for rock jumping but when rocks are wet it gets slippery . This time of year the waterfall at the end wasn't running but the arch was a nice surprise. This trail is also great for dogs just start early and the sand will heat up. …

This trail was a most awesome hike, especially with the natural bridge at the end. A bit of a challenge at some points but certainly do-able. Well worth the hike!

FYI this has been renamed as the Grandstaff trail. It's about 5 miles round trip through a very scenic canyon ending at the amazing Morning Glory Arch which I though was as good as anything in nearby Arches NP. The trail gains some elevation but it is not difficult, but be warned that you have to rock hop across a stream 10 times and a few of these crossings are tricky. My husband slipped and got a wet boot which was not good in 20 degree temperature. In winter conditions the trail has packed snow and is icy in spots so spikes are definitely advisable.…
