This was our first hike of the week. It was very well marked, but has a short walk along an incline with a safety cable for you, a scramble with cable assistance, and another with ladder and cable, so may not be for everyone. The...More

...with a beautiful view. We did this as an evening hike after driving from Denver to Moab, and a 4 pm start was perfect (in May - with plenty of daylight).

Great thing to do is the Cerona Arch. It’s easy to access with a 2,3mi hike one way. It starts on the road to Potash. The Trailhead is marked. It starts kind of steep and you have to cross the railroadtracks. After that it’s still...More

We selected Corona and nearby Bowtie Arches for our one major hike while in Moab. A bit strenuous for four retired folks in places (rickety ladder, hauling ourselves up a steep slope with the aid of a wire rope) we were amply rewarded with an...More

This arch is outside of Arches NP! It is a 3.0mi round trip with minimum to no shade. I would recommend water and lots of it especially during the hot season! You do climb up 440ft but there is a rope ladder if you need...More

This was one of our favorite hikes of our Moab visit. We hiked in the evening to catch the golden hour before sunset and it was perfect. My son loved the views with the railroad tracks cutting thru the scenery. I would rate the hike...More

2 mile hike from a free trailhead, no crowds, no cost, very impressive arch. Well worth the trip when the other national parks are too crowded.

A great hike! Some stunning scenery which now has a special place in my heart. The last half a mile is the most beautiful and rewarding and may be difficult to some. There is some scrambling involved and one must be really sure-footed to do...More

Yes, it's paved. The trailhead parking lot is dirt, but it's right off the road which is paved. It's a really easy drive from downtown Moab or from Arches NP.
