We did our first hike on the West Virginia portion of the AT. A beautiful hike which also gives access to the Loudon Heights trail.

We had no idea the Appalachian Trail passed through Harper's Ferry. What was really neat is you can walk across the Potomac rail bridge along the AT from WV into MD!

Wonderful place to visit. Lots of things to see and do. Nice hikes and we saw a train going through while we were there. Food is good.
