Was camping near Harpers Ferry for Spring Break with the wife and kids, we decided to go the ghost tour and were not disappointed! Reasonably priced, we met at St Mark's catholic church where our guide, Rick Garland, started the tour. We did have to do some walking and his stories had depth and meaning. The only hiccup were the... More

Thanks so much for your review Mike! I'm so glad you enjoyed my tour! I just want to point out to anyone reading this review that we meet at St. Peter's Church (not St. Mark's) at the top of the old stone steps in Harpers Ferry, WV. Thanks again and take care! More

I love Ghost Tours because of the history woven in the stories. The storytelling was fun and informative but i missed walking around town and seeing the places where the events occurred. Sitting in the church for almost two hours was uncomfortable and it was cold inside so I would have rather walked around in the cold to keep moving.

Had a wonderful time on this tour. It was off season so was pretty cold so we ended up sitting in the church for the story-telling. You would think that wouldn't make for a good tour but you would be wrong. Rick was an engaging storyteller and made for a great experience and evening. Couldn't recommend it to anyone enough.

It was only 20 degrees the night we visited Harpers Ferry so instead of a tour we got to listen to the stories inside the church. Much more comfortable than being outdoors that night. Rick is a great storyteller and highly entertaining! We looked at all the houses on our way back to our car parked a couple blocks away... More

The ghost tour gave new meaning to Harper's Ferry. It was interesting to learn the Civil War history of the area and which houses and streets were haunted. Can't wait to visit Harpers Ferry again and look for ghosts !

Tour was very interesting, Rick was humorous (a bit corny) but knew a lot about the town and its history. Price is great. If it's cold at all make sure to wear thick socks and a good jacket because the wind chill can be a killer.

The price was a little steep at $14 per adult, but I came to Harper's Ferry specifically after reading all the ghost stories. The night I went, it was the tour guide's wife filling in for him. She was pleasant. There were probably 30 other people on the tour. We stopped around 5 (?) different locations, but the creepiest was... More

Our Storyteller was dressed in period clothing a top hat and lantern in hand. Our Group was large so he carefully got us to and from the sites with his assistant also dressed in period clothing. He entertained us, ask questions, gave historical insight as to what may have happen at each site. Be prepared to walk and go up... More

I has a very wonderful time on this tour. Our tour guide Rick was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He presented the tour in a way that made it enjoyable and entertaining. I especially liked it because they were able to accommodate myself and other guests who did not make a reservation. I must say that l would take this tour... More

Our story teller kept things moving and held everyone's attention with insightful and interesting historical references. Wear comfortable shoes, you'll be doing a lot of walking and hill climbing.
