Amazing view at CNMI highest peak Mt Tapochao. I went to Saipan for business trip. My duty is to train Power99fm Sales staff. The GM went to visit Power99 fm antenna sight and I went for a ride to experience an amazing view from the top. It is such a great feeling to see Saipans 360 vies from Mt Tapochao.... More

We get on top of Tapachao during our Let's Go Atraction. Was cool to ride Polaris there. Will recommend to visit once.

From Minnesota perhaps explains my preference for beaches over skyline views. Should you decide this is part of your preferences give yourself a 5 for effort. The story goes that the road surface is scraped once a year just before Easter. It deteriorates thereafter explaining perhaps our necessity for four-wheel drive to reach the top and everyone else"s this day.... More

The road up Mt Tapochao is a little hard to find, and pretty rugged near the top; but well worth the effort. You'll see views of the entire island; and an excellent narrative on signage about the battle. The concrete Christ is up here, too.. Watch Japanese tourists climb up to take selffies with Jesus!

Great place to visit and you can not miss it while in Saipan, you can see the whole island from there when the weather is clear. Road to get to the top is not very good as of Feb 2017. But you can park somewhere before reaching the top. Not recommend to go when raining.

The road is quite bumpy so you'd better ride SUV or a jeep. But once you get here, you will be able to see the whole island. However, when it is too cloudy, it would be quite difficult to get a good view, so check the weather before you go.

After a bumpy drive up an unsealed and windy road you will reach Mt.Tapochao, the highest point on the island of Saipan. To actually reach the summit from the car park, you are required to climb a small amount of stairs, but once you have completed this, you will be rewarded with a 360 degree view of the island. I... The road up to this location is extremely rough and I would not suggest doing it in a car (a jeep, SUV, etc works). Once to the top, you see an exquisite view of the entire island. We went just as everyone was turning on their lights and it was very beautiful. Enjoy!

being on top of Tapochau, we can admire the full island of Saipan, nearby Tinian. Sunrises and sunsets from there are BEAUTIFUL. And being there, you can see at once all the places where the battle of Saipan stand.

Although the road up can be a little bumpy it can usually easily be made with a "regular" car. The only time I would be hesitant is after a period of heavy rain. Once you reach the parking area a short, gentle incline of steps easily takes you to the top for a panoramic view of most of the island.... More
