Had drinks at the bar, with breathtaking, sweeping views of the Pacific coast. I could have stayed all day watching the coastal waters beat up on Seal rocks.

Not bad fun for a few beers. If you have some free time and want to see the ocean not a bad deal. Prices for food fairly high.

Highly overrated. The views are the only high point. Wife and son both had the Pork Chop which came out nearly rare. My steak was ok, not great for the price. Overpriced food just because of location.

We enjoyed our walks at the coast line and the cliffs around Cliff House. The day was sunny and beautiful. Impressive views. Easy safe walks, so no problems there. Allow for 2 hours or so to do place justice.

We've come here for lunches and dinners and the views of the sea are superb. It's an historic building. Food quality is good.

We visited the Cliff House and were wowed by the neat story. We enjoyed seeing the pool remnants, pieces of architectural history, pictures, and other items of nostalgia. An enjoyable experience.

I strongly recommend getting a reservation. The Cliff House is a good ride from downtown and very popular. A number of private events are held there. It would be a shame to arrive there and be denied table seating due to... More
