Enjoyed a surprise birthday outing to The Cheese School. The Mac n' Cheese evening was highlighted by tasting all the cheese and wine pairings curated by author and cheese expert Laura Werlin (CheezeLady) For a cheese lover, this is a definite hit.

Attended the "summer cheese and wine" class last night and really enjoyed learning (and tasting) about the different cheeses, how they are made and some of the differences between them. Interesting, educational, and tasty. They offered four wines to pair with 8 cheese samples. The teacher was excellent, had different stories to share, very knowledgeable, and made it VERY clear... We had the opportunity to attend a wine and cheese class on the last night of our vacation. What a treat! The teacher was Collette. She was very, very knowledgeable and made the class fun with her stories of visiting the places that made the cheeses that we were tasting. The cheese and wine......fabulous! Having been obsessed with cheese for years (thank you diBruno Bros!), it seemed like the perfect time to actually learn how to make the stuff. What a fabulous find! We attended a cheese and beer pairings class. We tasted 6 cheeses (generous portions) - most of which were new to us, and all top quality.
