I only wish they had a few tables to enjoy desserts at the shop. You can sit on the bench and eat. The ladies are very nice and desserts are absolutely fabulous. Not cheap but worth it!

Ok, I've seen my share of sweet shops but this was impressive. Japanese sweets which are extremely authentic and almost seeming collectable! The selection is vast and extremely well presented. The sales lady was very nice and accommodating when I asked her for a tour...More

Perhaps the oldest place in Japantown, and a bakery where mochi has been made for decades. Fresh every day. Wife might move in if they had beds. While I like mochi, I'm drawn even more to their Kauai Cookie selection

OMG. Mochis are to die for, melts on your mouth. Expensive, though. Severs are excellent. Authentic Japanese delicacy. Even the paper bags and boxes are pretty.

Nice selection of treats. I was surprised to fund some high quality green teas as well. They were out of some of the items I wanted, but I found some nice alternatives. Not cheap.

Yes, the sweets are a bit pricey, but they are delicious. The presentation is exquisite. The service is excellent. A great place to get gourmet Japanese sweets.

It was so fun to go in this Japanese bakery to try something new. The staff was helpful and kind. Everything looked so beautiful. We had the persimmon with white bean paste. Nothing is overly sweet but very good.

They sell gourmet Japanese desserts for a gourmet price. Lots of mochis and little cakes and things. For those who like Japanese desserts, they can be delicious- light and not too sweet. But way too expensive! I bought a few and liked some but not...More

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s
version of Wall Street. The rush of business people
make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,
