It was an unexpected wonderful experience. Biking the hills in Marin was very challenging for me, but the beautiful route from Sports Basement to Pt. Reyes and back was well worth it. Olema campgrounds was great with hot showers. 4 meals (lunch/dinner/breakfast/lunch) throughout trip all prepared by the Sports Basement team ... I consider that luxury camping! The team was... This was a challenging but rewarding backpacking trip to Yosemite. The first day we camped in the back country which is such a world apart from any other experience. The beauty and serenity were unequaled. The second day up to half dome was tough (we were older than the rest of the group) but marvelous. You just can't believe the... More

This is the best biking outing in the area and I will go back asap. Can't rave enough about the excellent food, friendly guides, challenging ride with assistance on an individual level... everything you could desire. The great outdoors. The campsite is perfect too, with hot showers.

There is no better way to bike the beautiful roads of Marin County than with the Sports Basement team. Damon, Liane, Jennifer and Pete will pamper you, make sure you are enjoying every minute of your trip, supply you with food and water, repair your bike on the spot if needs be. It was fun and the chili at the... More

I went up to Point Reyes on an overnight bike camping trip - it was from Saturday at 9am to Sunday at 2pm. Great overall experience and I was very impressed with the level of organization and detail the crew put into the whole trip. The guides were excellent, the bike support was phenomenal, and the food was great! They... More

The instructors were friendly and very knowledgeable. This class was appropriate for beginning mountain bikers, as well as those with some experience under their belts. Instructions were clear and helpful and I felt comfortable, yet appropriately challenged in the class. Time on the bike and trail were well-balanced and carefully constructed. There were lots of breaks during the ride to... More

The class is advertised as a skills clinic + trail ride. In reality it is a guided trail ride on a easy to moderate MTB trail (you get a choice). The class starts with a BS session where the guides talks about all the cool things they do. They then set up a 'switchback' course (put a semi-circle of rope... More

Fantastic Experience! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. I participated with a group of 4 girlfriends and we had a wonderful time. Sports Basement did a great job supporting the trip, providing excellent guides, bike support, snacks, food and anything else we needed. We were able to relax (as much as you can relax after riding 70 miles)... More

This was the most incredible experience! Everything was organized so well...backcountry and half dome permits were taken care of. The hike itself was amazing...the views and scenery were spectacular!!! I was lucky enough to be able to do this with 3 of my adult children, but I also enjoyed getting to know the others in the group. The guides were... More
