They have a huge colorful display of taffy, and even boxes that say "San Francisco Salt Water Taffy", but when you ask the clerk where the taffy is made, they say no one makes it in SF anymore. Theirs is from a factory in SLC!...More

This is bigger than it looks, with a good selection of unique candy. Lots of salt water taffy flavors, caramels, hard candies, new and old fashioned candy. Not a lot of walking space inside so recommend not taking strollers.

Stopped here to look for a specific candy, which they had. That was the plus. On the negative, very crowded, unfriendly staff and rude customers.

The Candy Baron is a great place to be! They have a wide selection of candies and themed candies. The main attraction are the barrels and barrels of taffy flavors. Some of the candy is a bit pricey, but it's worth it.

Located in Pier 39 concourse and it's a treasure trove of sweet stuff! Lots of flavours for salt water taffy that you don't get in other places. Easy to get to by public Muni transit (F line runs past Pier 39).
