Since 1978, Great Pacific has been a special tour company. Founded on the belief that a vacation should be relaxing and special, Great Pacific has always provided affordable elegance and excellence.

We have always used mini vans, specifically customized for touring.

Our guides have always gone the extra mile to make your trip as interesting and pleasant as possible.

That's why people often come back again and again to take our tours - a perfect way to discover the San Francisco Bay Area.

So, next time you are coming to see San Francisco, give Andy, Tom, Joel, or any one of the other folks at GPT a call, and let us show you this wonderful place we call home.

This tour was recommended by our hotel Concierge, and I am so glad that we booked it and had the chance to spend a lovely day with Buddy and our small group! We were picked up from our hotel and Buddy shared a lot of information on San Francisco on our drive to Sanoma where we visited the Vine and... More

We booked the half day Muir Woods and Sausolito tour. We were picked up at the hotel and driven to the woods. All was fine, we crossed the Golden Gate and got commentary along the way. We only got an hour in the woods which was just enough time to see parts of it. We were then whisked to Sausolito... More

Hello, we are sorry that you were not satisfied with the tour to the Redwoods and Sausalito. Most visitors are on a schedule during their stay in San Francisco and we are very clear in our brochure as well as on our website that we stay 1 hour in Muir Woods and 30 minutes in Sausalito with an optional return... This activity is a great way to spend your day. The bus picks you up right at your hotel, and the entire process was very well-organized and professional. The fee includes a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, but also includes all tasting fees as well as a delicious lunch (a lot of other companies we researched do not include... More

My girlfriend and I booked their "Small Group Wine Tour" and I just want to say that this trip is an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anybody. There are a lot of different options for wine tours leaving San Fran but this company provides the best value for a very reasonable price! And the customer service (from... More

What a great way to spend a day. Small bus... only 15 people. Pick up at your hotel. Our guide/driver, Judith was amazing and informative. All tastings are covered as well as a great restaurant lunch in Sonoma. Tour at Domain Chandon in Napa valley completed the day. Highly recommend.

The 13 person van picks you up at your San Francisco hotel, drives thru the city, over the Golden Gate Bridge and up to Sonoma and then Napa. We visited two wineries in Sonoma then had lunch in Sonoma proper. After lunch we headed to Napa to a winery specializing in local champagne/sparkling wine. Buddy was a great tour guide,... More

We had a great day with Judith and the other visitors to Napa and Sonoma. We loved the ambience of the two wineries but preferred the Cline wines of the two morning wineries. Chandon was also great. Only downside was when we handed over the tip it was made clear that it was not enough. Whilst tipping is a custom... More

Our tour to Napa/Sonoma was on Wednesday March 1st 2017. It was a small group (6) and our guide was Cynthia. She did an excellent job of making the tour both fun and informative. She had excellent knowledge of the area and provided us with many additional facts that we were unaware of. When we had questions, she was always... More
