After a full day of touring San Francisco, a relaxing therapeutic massage in an ambiance of Thai antiques and a lotus pond is a unique experience. Very easy on the wallet also.

My wife and I are hooked. To the point that we now visit Suchada every Monday to get worked on by Penny (me) and Patrick (my wife). It started as a once every month or so thing several years ago for a 60 minute rub, and now it's weekly for a 90 minute Thai Aroma massage. We will only go... More

I really love this place. It has not just nice and quite environment but also really good therapies. My preferred massage is Aroma Herbal Massage which is the right what you need if you want to relax your muscles and enjoy the herbal smell in the air along with hot touch of it. I am working long hours and especially... More

Very relaxing, knowledgeable and kind masseuse. This was my first Thai massage and I was very pleased. She walked on my shoulders. Although I was unsure what to expect, it was ideal fit my tense and soar muscles. The location wasn't far from my hotel but it's best to drive yourself or taxi there. You'll be directly under the Oakland... More

Over the last two years, I spent 120 plus days on business in Thailand. Too much time and exhausting. Thai massage was one of the best things on those trips. Suchada has absolutely got it nailed. The environment is direct out of Thailand, with the mats at floor level, and curtain dividers. The staff appear to be predominantly trained in... More

If you want a true Thai massage, go to Suchada. You can choose whether how you want your massage done; from soft to hard and the type of massage you want. The first time I went, I was out of it for several hours (remember to drink lots of water afterwards). Since then I've learned to prepare to take it... More

I really enjoyed the massage I had at Suchada. Caveat - mine was the "hurts so good" kind but I am confident you can request whatever level of pressure you wish for. I worked with a gentleman who clearly knew his craft, and even taught me a few stretches at the end that I could do at home. Easy check... More

Professional, truly caring staff. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere, very clean. I loved the traditional Thai massage: 90' break for my bones and I was...born again. I am a spa addict, this was one of my best massages ever.

I'm a big fan of massage but until visiting Suchada had never had a traditional Thai massage. What a treat! For those who aren't familiar with it, it's a combination of pressure (you can request deep or gentle) and stretching, and the masseuse uses her entire body - hands, feet, elbows. I was clothed in loose pants and a top... More

We booked for massage for two at Suchada as per our hotel concierge’s recommendation. The place is by the Embarcadero, a short distance from downtown. A 15-minute ride by BART and a short walk brought us to Suchada. The place is located in a quiet area. The ambience of the Suchada lends to a sense of deep relaxation. The receptionists... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
