The Bay bridge is very pretty lit up at night we went on a night tour on the Hop - on & Hop- off busses & we sped across it ( so if you go on a night tour take warm clothes) .

Two bridges and tunnel take people from San Francisco to Alameda. Ironically, Alameda was part of 6 Naval Aviation facilities in which I was employed for three years. (1992-1994). I would have enjoyed seeing the old closed Air Station. There is an island half way...More

Lit up at night this is beautiful. During the day it's a great way to get to the east bay and back. Really cool to contrast the old vs. new bridge sections

I had no time to do more than just look at this bridge but it is seriously impressive. Longer and wider than Golden Gate bridge. I very much wish that I had the time to drive over it. Maybe next time.

After visiting the Golden bridge I was surprised to see another one, which "I guess" is structurally a bit similar to Golden bridge, but longer and Silver/steel in color. Don't miss!

I’d be the first to admit that I didn’t realise that San Francisco had another fabulous bridge! Everyone has heard about the Golden Gate Bridge, but the Bay Bridge is amazing too. It’s very long, apparently one of the longest in the world, and has...More

I only knew of the Golden Gate Bridge - ignorant me! This is the bridge that the Amtrak bus drives over from Emeryville to/from the city.

Everyone knows the Golden Gate Bridge. The San Francisco Bay Bridge is that poor old second cousin to the Golden Gate. But do not overlook this gem in the city and on the bay. Sure, it is part of the transportation system, getting you across...More

we all look at the Golden Gate bridge but the San Francisco Bay bridge during the night is a must. All Lights that go upand down. Just magic.
