I remember when I was growing up that people talked about Gump’s, and knew that one day I would have to visit and see it for myself. What an enchanting and delightful shop offering exquisite items today as it did in 1861 when Gertrude Gump...More

We were on a few hours in the centre of San Francisco when we were drawn in to a shop by the dazzling Xmas decorations! Amazing selection. We loved the British themed selection. Chatting to the security guard whilst waiting for my friend to pay....More

When most of the other retail places have been bought up by the big guys, this local legendary retailer is still going strong. With its upscale high end gifts, clothes and furniture, this is the place to go to find something unique.

somewhat disappointed in my visit (finally!) to San Francisco and Gump's. The store was smaller than I expected with large jewelry, silver and china departments that don't figure much in the catalogs I've received. I have several small items from Gump's-each a delight--but will have...More

I felt in love with this shop. Everything is so beautiful and not very expensive (as I would have expected in a store in France). You can find anything from clothes for women to candles to asian furniture. It is very chic.
