We visited this regal spot overlooking the Pacific. Listened to two talks inside and toured the special exhibits. Had a lovely little lunch.

A couple of the big exhibits cost extra, and we only had a couple hours so we skipped those. There were plenty of beautiful things to see.

I love the variety of art in this museum! The building itself is architecturally pleasing. My favorite pieces are the impressionist and post impressionist pieces; however, I found something I liked in each room. Highly recommend!

This is a very beautiful setting; the building is gorgeous and the grounds are very peaceful; there's a nice view of the GG Bridge in the distance. I enjoyed the Matisse exhibit immensely.

The Klimt show is small, poorly lit, and expensive ($30/person). Klimt is one of my favorite artists and I was sorry to see so few finished paintings. This show isn't worth the crowds and the cost. The location of the Legion of Honor is fantastic....More

My family has many fine artists in it, and many who enjoy art, but I am not an art lover. I do however, appreciate a good presentation. The Klemp and Rodan exhibit Are such an exhibit. If you love art and sculptures please come here

Went to see the Klimt\Rodin exhibit last week and enjoyed touring more of the museum afterward. A bit pricey for the size of the exhibit, but worth it if you're a fan of Klimt or Rodin.

This wonderful museum has a bit to please everyone. If you like Rodins then this is a great place to see a variety of his work. Many fantastic paintings and tapestries. And the cafe is a good place to grab a light lunch.

We went for the Klimt and Rodin exhibits but loved the museum's general collection equally as well. The setting, above the Presidio, overlooking San Francisco's Golden Gate, is spectacular. Be sure to stay for the weekend organ concert. The entire experience is absolutely delightful.

It's. Eden there for a while so the crowds are not as bad as when it opened. I'd recommend during the week if that's an option. I was there in a Sunday and even then the crowds were not too bad. I'm guessing a weekday... More
