I have been visiting San Francisco every year for past 9 years,I discovered B&Blues on my first visit and the club is now my main reason to keep going back to SF. In fact my choice of weeks for holiday are chosen in advance by checking out what artists are playing & when. For anyone who loves the Blues,I highly advise taking in a night or 2 at Biscuits & Blues while you are in town … The atmosphere is great ..dark and intimate, all tables are very close to stage … I can also recommend the food ( southern fried chicken my favourite )….A Great NIght Out !!!…

Biscuits and Blues is a nice way to spend an evening and have a good meal. You pay for the show over and above the meal - the two times we went, the show was around $25. You have to buy at least two tickets at a time, I guess because they don't have single seats, you have a table. Thanks for recommending spending an evening with us, Kathleen! I'm delighted that you were able to catch a great show with dinner and that our biscuits in particular stood out to you. I'd love to have you back to show you an even better experience anytime you're in the area. Best, Steven S., General Manger

We came for the artist but this is only about the food. Seating in the small place was around bar sized tables. This got pretty crowded since we ordered food. I was surprised that the food was very tasty. The fried chicken was a huge amount and came out hot from the fryer. Shrimp and grits had a tasty rich sauce. I am not sure it was authentic NOLA but very good. There were a nice number of big shrimp but I would have preferred the tails off. Biscuits are a side order and were OK. The butter may have been slightly sweet. The room arrangement and sound were great for being up close to the show. Staff was the right amount of friendly. Food was comparable San Francisco prices which seems high to many out of towners. We enjoyed our visit and would go again if we are ever back in SF.…
