The museum does an excellent job of telling the story of Walt Disney himself. The artwork and nods to movies is everywhere, but the main focus is on Walt and how he brought the company to become the giant that it is today. I would plan to spend 2-3 hours just so you can take in all of the marvelous... More

Loved this historical view of the man behind our favorite place. The museum is Disney history, not Disneyland. It has so many things that can't be seen at a theme park. The academy awards for Snow White and the 7 Dwarves, photos of his family, the plans for the original theme park and so much more. I have visited it... More

this wasnt too bad of a museum. Was a rainy day we visited the walt disney museum so was short for time. Pretty informative. I dont have young children so think this was wasted on me though a family would really love it

Wonderful exhibit of Walt Disney's life. Very touching at the ending where you understand the enormous amount of creative contributions he brought to the entertainment industry. Beautiful grounds as well with spectacular view of the golden gate bridge.

This is a great tribute to the wonderful Walt Disney. His daughter respected his work and made a wonderful museum for all to see. This is definitely not a kids museum. Older kids may be fine. My friends and I had a terrific time. The exhibits covered his entire life up until his death. There are so many artifacts that... More

I loved the Walt Disney Family Museum! There was so much information about Walt Disney. We spent about 2 hours there, but it probably takes about 4 hours to see it all completely. In the lobby area, you can see all of Walt's awards, including all of his Oscars. The museum starts out with Walt's parents and his birth and... More

First let me just say this without reservation...This is NOT a kids museum or for little ones. This is a multi media display for adults and for people who are interested in the life of Walt Disney and how all his success came about. It's his life story and Mickey is just a tiny part of this tour. With that... More

You thought you new every thing about Walt Disney until you go to this gem. Save about 1 and 1/2 hours to see all the rooms.
