This place is run by two friendly and entertaining guys who clearly love what they do and they have a vast knowledge of wine. There are a few different options on tastings so we chose a mix of white and red. It was only $15 for 5 wine tasters and we were also given a free glass of sparkling and... More

We are wine lovers from New Zealand, why wouldn't we like to try some local wines? The larger of the two men servers offered us a drink. When we said we wanted to do a tasting he was a little disgruntled 'at that decision. He delivered our first taster and gave us a five second review of the wine and... More

I purchased a Groupon before heading to San Francisco, and made the Winery Collective our first stop while waiting for our room to be ready. It was a fun place to stop after a long flight, and it gave us a chance to sample some wine before walking around Fisherman's Wharf. The Collective was not overly packed, but it had... More

My daughter and I stopped in because we needed to unwind. We were both exhausted and a little tense as we had been moving all week. The atmosphere in The Winery Collective was exactly what we needed. Our pourer, Mark, was friendly and knowledgeable and had just the right amount of wit to be fun but not arrogant. The "red"... More

We got as part of a Groupon, really enjoyed, I would have liked a little more wine in each taster but when you compare the tastings to the cost a of full glass it seems good value

We read some good reviews, and made a trip to check this place out. I have no idea if the wine is good or not, as the service was so horrible! Appeared to be only one guy working, and he was an unbelievable jerk. I read some other reviews, and it looks like it was the same guy! I guess... More

Staying at the argonaut we stumbled upon the winery collective downstairs and were quite pleased. We (I am 29 and my two parents) spent a couple of hours here enjoying tasting flights followed by our favorite bottle (glitter). Mark was informative, fun and enthusiastic which made the experience memorable. We were fortunate to be the only ones there for our... More

I am writing this review here, for Trip Advisor, and copying this to the owner / director of the Winery Collective after my experience last week. It was horrific! For starters, I visit SF about once a year. I first found this place in 2008, and after a few great visits I wrote a 5 Star review (August 1, 2009... More

I had an amazing groupon for the Winery Collective, so I decided to check it out. I WAS BLOWN AWAY!! The wine was amazing by itself, but Marc is the greatest wine guy ever. He lets you go off the flight list depending on your palette. And get this... He let us get In-N-Out Burger to bring back and eat... More

One of my friends made reservations here for a small group of six of us to celebrate her upcoming wedding. When we arrived we were told they didn't have our reservation and we we showed them confirmation emails they said that there had been a mix up and that they could not do anything about it because it was someone...
