Description:

Incredible Adventures is an outdoor travel company specializing in tours...

Incredible Adventures is an outdoor travel company specializing in tours from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, Muir Woods, California's Napa and Sonoma Wine Country, and whitewater rafting on the American River. We've been offering travelers a safe, eco-friendly, reliable way to connect with nature since 1993, and our professional guides are experts in the destinations we visit throughout the Western United States.

We strive to provide personal, unique experiences for our small groups (16 max). We accomplish this by creating relaxed, flexible itineraries for our tours, and by going the extra mile - both literally and figuratively - to assure an authentic view of the lesser-traveled roads and sights of our beautiful California countryside.

We believe strongly in maintaining the wild lands and National Parks of California (and all over the world), and know that tourism can be a strong factor in whether these magnificent areas continue to thrive for future generations to enjoy. In order to minimize the environmental impact of our business on the destinations we visit, we operate our vehicles on sustainable, petroleum-free biodiesel fuel made from local recycled cooking oil. Our fleet is made up of 13-20 passenger mini-coaches which all run on B100!

From the mild to the wild, in a day or overnight, in a hotel or at a campsite, escape to the great outdoors with Incredible Adventures!

Our guide Sara, picked us up from the hotel and we were off to Muir Woods for our first stop. The length of stay was long enough to hike trails, enjoy the sights and sounds of this breathtaking place. The 2nd stop was at a family owned winery, where we sampled delicious selections of wine. Our 3rd stop was a... More

This tour with Leo as our guide was fabulous! It must be a challenge to go to plan B when snow blocks a mountain pass, but we did not for even a minute feel we were missing a thing. We saw the drop-dead gorgeous Yosemite and Lake Tahoe views, and also enjoyed great food stops along the way. The Bug... More

We've just returned from the most awesome tour of Yosemite and Lake Tahoe with Leo from Incredible Adventures. The key to a great tour is a great guide! The itinerary was awesome but Leo bought it all to life with an incredible range of knowledge and experience. His familiarity with the best routes and photo opportunities put us at ease... More

First of all lets start with our guide Laurent, he's a frenchman raised in Texas so right there you known he's going to be interesting. The bus is one of those short shuttle buses that holds like 20 people which is great you don't want those huge tour buses. Laurent is very knowledgeable and super helpful and all around awesome.... Laurent made our tour very enjoyable, he answered all questions and gave us tons of information about the area. It was clear he really knows his stuff, not just reciting a script. We saw Muir woods, 2 wineries, and a brewery and had a quaint lunch in Sonoma. We had the best day! I would recommend this tour to all... More

Getting out of San Francisco is good to do especially when it involves beautiful Countryside, wine and like-minded people. Seven was a good number on the bus and we all got on well. Mitch was informative and entertaining and clearly very knowledgable not just on wine. We tasted some great wines and visited some very picturesque wineries. We concluded the... More

Our guide was fun, knowledgable, energetic, organised and passioate about Yosemite. With stops along the way - to purchase fresh fruit, lunch and other necessary supplies the trip flowed well Anne explained the history,... More

We absolutely loved our wine tour! Our guide, Vince, was so knowledgeable, energetic, and related well with the group. We were able to take our time at each beautiful stop with no pressure to move on at a certain time. The wine and scenery was well worth the visit. Will definitely recommend this tour to friends!

Amazing day. Love Muir Woods. It's absolutely beautiful there. I've been on other wine tours and they didn't compare. Both wineries were intimate and very informative. Loved the brewery tour. Our guide, Laurent, was very knowledgeable and personable. He made you feel as if you were old friends. I definitely would recommend this tour.
