Not my cup of tea. Nothing actually to see but many shops, restaurants, street tour sellers, wax museums...and that kind of stuff added with big, big people crowds. Made for tourists everything is overpriced of course.

A nice little touristy place. Lots of options to walk, eat and spend time on a lazy Sunday. Ideal for trying sea food too.

A very scenic and tourist area with lots of souvenir shops and restaurants including the Hard Rock Cafe. One must try the sour dough bread clam chowder and also the crab. I particularly prefer the sidewalk food stands.

A great area to wander, absorb local culture, and sample the local cuisine. It's a bustling area with lots of unique street performers in the area.

Vibrant place, packed with tourists. There were plenty of souvenir and curiosity shops to woo around in and a great selection of places to eat. Or you can spend a good hour or so relaxing while eating hot fresh donuts or popcorn watching the resident seals basking on specially built floating platforms just off the pier.

Definitely a cool place to visit if you don't mind hoards of other tourists! A whole bunch of cool shops and restaurants and some pretty nice views to take in too. I definitely recommend wearing some good shoes because there's lots to see. Definitely check this place out if you can make the time!

There is a great amount to do if you know where to look. Ghiradelli Square, many really great restaurants, bike rentals, ferry ports, and the shops with local fare. However, there is also a lot of touristy traps that could easily eat up a lot of your trip. This is ok for a first timer, just don't forget to get... More
