I loved this street - so much fun. I caught the cable car and jumped off at the top then walked down and caught another cable car a few blocks away to get back into town.

Enjoyed seeing Lombard street. Late in the season so the flowers hat line the street weren’t in full bloom. Very interesting and glad we walked along the street!

We went to Lombard Street from the Hotel Majestic on foot. We were originally headed towards Ghiradelli Square, via Van Ness Street, when we spotted Lombard Street crossing us just ahead. We looked to the left and saw a wide open road, full of traffic,...More

Nothing like this anywhere in the world, simply have to either drive down or walk down, take photos and just suck in the unforgettable atmosphere.

Honestly, if you don't want to walk a couple of blocks, have a reputable cab drop you at the top and then walk down. That's what we did and loved it!
