One of my favorite places to see in San Francsico was Twin Peaks. The road up is near the Castro district. It's a steep winding road, but it's not too long and when you get to the top you'll be glad you made the effort....More

Visited twin peaks at 4pm on a July afternoon. The place was crowded with tourists, several cars and tour buses. We parked our car on one of the lots and since we just wanted to take pics, we made a huge mistake and left our...More

It's totally worth going up here as you see a complete view of the city from top. A friend recommended me that I ride a cycle and head there. But, as I was travelling with friends we rented a car and went there. The weather...More

A popular tourist attraction understandably, you can see all of San Francisco from up in Twin Peaks. I warn you though, some days the fog can cover views up and it can get awfully windy. But definitely a sight to see when the sky is...More

The view from these peaks is worth the visit. The angles you can photograph are wonderful. Be careful when parking here, there are a lot of robberies of tourist vehicles. Take your belongings or hide them in your trunk.

Twin Peaks is usually our first stop in San Francisco after coming north from the airport. On a clear day we have spent a couple of hours looking at all of the sights that we will visit in San Francisco. Fabulous!!

Had a chance to trek up the twin peaks before leaving San Francisco. Definitely glad we made the stop. Did not spend more than 30-45 minutes there. The view is absolutely breathtaking! If you have a chance to stop by, take a few deep breaths,...More

We only went part way up, but still experienced great views of the city. Roadside pulloffs were pretty filthy with litter and some undesirable items if you have children with you though. (Used condoms, for example)

Love, Love, Loved Twin Peaks! I really enjoyed the hike up both peaks. The view of the city and the bay was breathtaking. The skies were clear so I got some great pictures of the city.

This place is great. The attention of the waiters is wonderful, food, the local beer and shots are great too. The building and decoration is also something to point out.

The city lays out before you. You can really get an idea of how SF is laid out if you have a map to consult while viewing. I recommend the laminated fold out one. Lasts longer and desire to read.

You have more to fear from the human species at night here than the coyotees . Humans are much more dangerous here than the animals .

You can also take the 37 bus and get off at the end of the line. From there it is a short walk up a natural trail cut through the grass to the peak. Its a bit of a walk. I would recommend possibly taking a taxi/uber up... More
