I have visited this with a group of friends and it was really awesome. Most important thing to know that it is red as per the pictures and not golden. The view is breathtaking especially if you drive, walk or hike to the adjacent mountains. It gets a bit crowded & sticky sometimes but it s still a great place... More

If you're in SF and haven't seen this, really what have you seen? Drive or walk across the bridge and get the best views from Hendrik Point.

We were very lucky to have a perfectly clear day - no fog. We did a hop on/off trip to Sausalito which included the bridge. The views were lovely. So was Sausalito.

This is an icon, seen in sooo many movies, so is simply something you have to check out when you're in San Fransisco. I did a cruise so got to see it from the water. It's easily accessible from land too. No excuses really. A great one to tick off the list.

Beautiful to run across! I would also check out Golden Gate Park nearby. The only tough part was the traffic when requesting an uber driver.

Ran the Golden Gate Bridge on a foggy cold December morning. It was a 3.5 mile round trip. The views were epic! There was definitely noise from traffic, but not unbelievable.

Beautiful city views. Crowded 1.7 mile walk - about a 40 minute stroll. One of the things that you have to check off the list of what to do in SF.

So So So beautiful. It was perfect, from the view to driving on it. It was so much fun. It was movie like.

Great place with breathtaking views on the San Francisco bay. It is better to walk or run there than to take the cars because you have to pay to cross the bridge with the car. Is is accessible with bus from the centre of the city. I recommend it definitely.

Doesn't matter how long you will be in San Fransisco, this is something you must not miss. Great to rent bikes and cycle over the bridge. Unfortunately not always clearly visible due to the fog.
