We hired a bike by fisherman’s wharf and cycled over the bridge to Sausalito. Lovely views from the bridge and plenty of room to cycle and stop and enjoy the view

We visited the Iconic bridge after a cruise. It is a must see if your in the San Francisco area. My suggestion is to not park on the main parking lot as it gets busy and full, drive down the roadway and take a small...More

I travelled over this bridge 3 ways- car, mini bus and double decker Big Bus. The last option was my fav. The stop off stations on both sides were crazy full of tourist, but the earlier you go the better. A magnificent building that doesn’t...More

We walked on the golden gate bridge but it was quite windy and cold. Although the weather was warm on the day that we vlslted we felt quite chilly on the top. The views are gorgeous on.the bridge.

Amazing structure, we didn't manage to cycle or walk across it as we had already booked a tour to sausalito and stopped either side. It was still a lovely experience going over it and it was so clear while we were in San Francisco.

Well worth a visit at any time of day, but if you get there in time to watch the sunrise behind Alcatraz it is superb. Plus the traffic is very slightly less than usual .

Personally I would do a Hop on Hop off double decker bus tour (Grey Line) and take the tour of the city which includes a stop at the bridge. Busses run about every half hour so you'll have flexibility to walk around. You... More

No you won't have any time to leave the airport and see it. Normally the approach for landings is from the east so you also won't be able to see it from there. However, if you're lucky you might be able to catch a glimpse... More
