My family of four (kids aged 10 and 12) came here after our arrival on a long flight. We had time before we could check into our AirBnB so we made a stop here. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot directly across...More

I have grown up visiting San Fran but have never made it to this iconic spot. The park across the street is Alamo Square which has great views of the Painted Ladies and is a good spot to take pics. They are beautiful and worth...More

Totally anticlimactic and VERY unsafe location. We parked for 15 minutes in front of over 100 tourists taking pictures, and our window was smashed and my 10 year old son's backpack was stolen with his lifelong favorite stuffed Curious George. Police say there can be...More

Very easy to find and visit, you can park and hang at the public park across the street and get some great views. Both of the city and the painted ladies. The houses look phenomenal and you can see them without getting that one theme...More

These old Victorian & Edwardian houses look simply stunning. They are familiar from various TV series & films and might be the most photographed sight in SFO. Just check them out.

I will honestly say that there isn't much to the Painted Ladies but if you grew up watching Full House, you won't care. I had to hop in an Uber and climb that damn hill just to see the exact angle at which the opening...More

What a joy to go see the houses, my family wasn't particularly interested, but honored me for the stop. Beautiful homes & park, so glad I made it a priority!

We were headed to Golden Gate Park so we made a side trip to find the six houses. They were pretty average houses not nearly as bright as I expected them to be, not really worth the time or effort to find them.
