What is the big deal about these homes! I still don’t understand why there were 100’s of people sitting on a hill looking at these homes! I mean they are pretty but there are pretty homes everywhere! I wouldn’t put this on my priority list...More

.. and rightly so! The park opposite the Painted Ladies is just beautiful. A photo with the Painted Ladies as the background speaks for itself - its San Francisco! It was a beautiful sunny day, and you could see for what seemed like forever.

Definitely worth the visit. We stopped by briefly as these were landmarks we wanted to see. Tour companies won’t take you there so it’s do it yourselves.

Don't waste money on seeing these. I took a muni bus and hopped off, walked a block and spent a half hour at the houses and park. Glad I saw them; they are tinier than I saw on TV.

These are beautiful Victorian/Edwardian homes located across a park. You can sit and picnic, or walk around the park and take pictures, there is a bathroom at the park so you can stay there all day if you wanted. Lots of restaurants nearby. Just very...More

We almost always stop at Alamo Park to see these lovely Queen Anne Victorian houses which predate the great earthquake and fire of 1906 and have survived to become fairly expensive real estate. By virtue of the fact that they are picturesque and situated so...More

One of my favourite spot in Sam Francisco. The view is amazing. Loved going there for a nice afternoon picnic.
