Didn't get to the Palace of Fine Arts last time we were in SF and were determined to get there this time. Delighted we did. Walked there along the waterfront from Ghirardelli Square, took about 30mins to the edge of Crissy Field...end there she is....More

This lives up to its name - PALACE OF FINE ARTS! The beautiful and intricate details of the walls and ceiling, actually, of the whole structure are soooo amazing! <3 This is a must-visit!

Was here for a lovely wedding ceremony and fell in love with the place all over again. The design and artwork is amazing. The dome is calming refreshing. Takes me back to Rome....

A friend who had lived in the area insisted that we take photos of the exterior features of the Palace, and we obliged. We should note that we did not actually enter the Palace and hence have no feedback on that aspect of the site....More

We had a smart private driver that took us here, or we wouldn't have thought to do it. I'm not posting a photo because I'm sure that I couldn't do it justice.

Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
