This market/shopping mall has several shops and cafés, and gets really busy at times. Good place to find some souvenirs.

This is a great place to visit - several places to eat and enjoy local fare, grab a glass of wine or local beer and just enjoy the afternoon. The farmer's market on Saturday mornings is a must - just eat your way through the food vendors and fresh produce and baked goods - truly enjoyable experience. Fun shops inside... More

The ferry building is not near the Pier area frequented by tourists or Union square, but it is on most tourist routes. The view of Treasure Island are breathtaking. the market itself is full of both shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is similar to Boston's Faneuil Hall. There is also a park across the street where one can walk or... More

The Ferry Building is at the end of a nice walk on Market Street. It has lots of cafés and shops with good wine, coffee, eateries and nice souvenirs. You can also take the ferry to go to other locations in the Bay Area

Great place to walk to along the wharf, get some good food, shop for a few SF mementos, and people watch.

Great place for lunch choices. We went to Hog Island for oysters one day, and the meat place (sorry, can't remember the name) for charcuterie and a glass of wine another. Both were great.

This was worth the walk through! There were very interesting shops and little market/eating areas! I wished I had more time to grab different foods from here! It was fun just wandering through.
